Wildlife & nature from the field
Most of these photos involved considerably more waiting than photography. In fact, my camera has probably spent more time pointed at empty bushes than at actual animals. Spending time looking for wildlife has become one of my favorite ways to travel, and it is also a big part of why I ended up researching environmental policy. I like understanding how humans affect the natural world, but I also enjoy simply sitting quietly and watching it.
